The Cedar Pavilion was built using 5x9 Red Cedar -16 foot long .The post are 6x6 posts . The Ceiling is knotty Spruce tongue and groove. We built the structure for Client to be able to entertain in any kind of weather. We are going to build a outdoor Fireplace with a firebox of 48 inches. It will sit at the end of the Oxford Half Circle. The first thing we had to do was dig out for the Retaining wall and Patio. The wall is constructed of beveled keystone blocks. The patio is made from Hampton blend tumbled pavers. We made a Muster K Pattern using them and then installed the Oxford half circle using Ottawa Creek Tumbled pavers. We built a sitting area out of Country Manor stone and used the caps for seating.

We Built steps Going down into the patio alternating red and grey step blocks to enhance the Patio and Pavilion. The roof is Burnished Slate metal roofing to match Floating Dock. Because the Client entertains we suggested up-lighting the Pavilion at night . We did this using Landscape lights that are 35 watts each. We installed them at each corner of the support posts. It is such a beautiful look at night and it Illuminates the wood without having to have overhead lighting. This kind of lighting is much more economical and can be implemented in various ways. We already had installed a Transformer and implemented lights on walkway and floating Boat Dock.We also installed a Water feature using a Statue made to resemble ( NEPTUNE ) with a fountain spraying up on the Statue. This Feature also is lit at night . As you can tell the Client likes to Entertain and we have and plan to implement many more projects for them. This job is on Tims Ford Lake for which we have already done other projects.
